Children's Sunday School

Children age 3 years through 6th grade participate in the Sunday School Opening from 9:45 to 10:00a.m. in Room 29, 2^nd floor and then go to class from 10:00-10:45 a.m.

3 years through 6th grade

"Rock Solid" covers the major stories of the Bible over the span of three years. Each week, the children encounter a Bible story, helping them to understand the Scripture and apply it to their daily lives. For the fall quarter we will be focused on Judges and Kings, A United Kingdom, and

Stories from the Exile.

"Rock Solid" - Building a Heart of Faith"

Each Sunday the children will be invited to have a personal faith experience with God. They will build their faith in a very personal way through activities, crafts, stories and games. The children will come to know Jesus as the son of God and take his message to heart following where their faith leads them.

Often times, the children will bring home the corresponding activity packs for that week's lesson. Rarely will the teachers be able to do all that is in the packets, so use them throughout the week to reinforce what they learned on Sunday. There are other materials for purchase that support the materials at the Cokesbury website: www.cokesbury.com. Just search for "exploring faith" and find the correct season and age group.
